Pix
Pix is an image viewer and browser utility that is part of the is X-Apps project.
How to Install Pix:
1. Open the Terminal (Shortcut: Ctrl + Alt + T)
2. Type the following command: sudo add-apt-repository ppa:embrosyn/xapps
3. Press Enter or Return and type in your password
4. Type the following command: sudo apt-get update
5. Type the following command: sudo apt-get install pix
6. Type Y and press Enter or Return
1. Open the Terminal (Shortcut: Ctrl + Alt + T)
2. Type the following command: sudo add-apt-repository ppa:embrosyn/xapps
3. Press Enter or Return and type in your password
4. Type the following command: sudo apt-get update
5. Type the following command: sudo apt-get install pix
6. Type Y and press Enter or Return
How to Uninstall Pix:
1. Open the Terminal (Shortcut: Ctrl + Alt + T)
2. Type the following command: sudo add-apt-repository --remove ppa:embrosyn/xapps
3. Type the following command: sudo apt remove pix
1. Open the Terminal (Shortcut: Ctrl + Alt + T)
2. Type the following command: sudo add-apt-repository --remove ppa:embrosyn/xapps
3. Type the following command: sudo apt remove pix
You can use your left or right arrow keys to move through your images folder. You can also click on the View previous image button or View next image button on the toolbar.

Additional commands on the toolbar can be accessed by clicking on the dropdown arrow.
Here's a look through the menus.
You can enable the Thumbnail Pane via the View menu or by pressing the F8 key on your keyboard.
If you click on the Edit file button in the right side of the toolbar, it will all you to see many commands that will allow you to make changes to your current image.
The View file properties button in the right corner of the toolbar will display a panel on the right that provides information about the current image.
