GeoGebra Classic
GeoGebra Classic allows you to solve math problems, graph functions, create geometric constructions, do statistics and calculus, save and share your results.
GeoGebra Classic is a dynamic geometry program. You can do constructions with points, vectors, segments, lines, conic sections as well as functions and change them dynamically afterwards. On the other hand, equations and coordinates can be entered directly.
Support for many geometric constructions is provided, as well as support for many calculus-based tools (derivatives, osculating circle, ...).
GeoGebra Classic files can be exported in many different formats, or as interactive applets for web pages.

At the time of creating this webpage (December 29, 2021), GeoGebra Classic version is 6.0.666.0.
To install GeoGebra Classic, go to the Download GeoGebra Apps webpage and click the Download link within the GeoGebra Classic 6 section.
Select the proper link to match your system to download the installation file. Since I use Ubuntu MATE 20.04.3 LTS, I selected the Linux (deb) 64 bit file.
The installation file will come from an http website instead of an https, so you may get a message warning you that you are trying to download a file from a non-HTTPS page. Click the Proceed anyway button if you have one. It will then start the download of the program.
When the download completes, go to the download location and double-click the geogebra-classic_6.0.666.0-202109211234_amd64.deb file to open the Package Installer. (I use GDebi Package Installer. To install GDebi open your Terminal and enter: sudo apt install gdebi) Then click the Install Package button.
Type in the Password and then click the Authenticate button.
Wait until your see, "Status: Same version is already installed" before you close the Package Installer.
You may choose to install a different version for your system if the above method doesn't work for your system. Go to the website's Index of GeoGebra Classic and select a different version. You can also go to pkgs.org and download the installation file for your system.
You should find GeoGebra Classic in your menu.
Here's what GeoGebra Classic looks like the first time it loads. You can click within the Input... box to start entering your problem or equation.
Here's parts of the GeoGebra Classic window.
By means of construction tools in the toolbar you can do constructions on the graphics view by mouse. At the same time the corresponding coordinates and equations are displayed in the algebra view. The input bar is used to enter coordinates, equations, commands and functions directly; these are displayed in the graphics view and in the algebra view immediately after pressing the Enter key. In GeoGebra Classic, geometry and algebra work side by side.
GeoGebra Classic will instantly create a graph as you enter your problem.
You can click the plus symbol (+), on the left, to enter another problem or equation. You can zoom in by clicking on the magnifying glass with the plus symbol and zoom out by clicking on the magnifying glass with the minus symbol. You can click the home icon to go back to the standard view. You can hold down your left mouse button to move around or pan around the graph.

Clicking the three horizontal lines (a.k.a. hamburger menu) will create a drop-down menu that displays fifteen options.
You can use the Line Tools to create a line between two or more points on a graph.
You can right-click on a point on the line to create a drop-down menu.
GeoGebra Classic has a Geometry option that is concerned with properties of space that are related with distance, shape, size, and relative position of figures.
GeoGebra Classic has a 3D Graphics option that allows you to graph 3D functions, plot surfaces, construct solids and much more.
Notice the color of each graph matches the round dot to the left of each equation, y=x+1, y=x^2-6 and y=5x^3+2x^2+1.
You can access and use the online version of GeoGebra Classic if you prefer not to install it on your system. You can also access the online GeoGebra Calculator Suite.
