How to Upgrade Mozilla Thunderbird 91 to 102
If you're a Linux user and still using Thunderbird version 91 and would like to upgrade to the newest version 102, then follow my instructions below.
The method below works for Thunderbird installed via APT. APT is a front-end of Debian’s base package management system dpkg. It will not work for Snap, Flatpak, or AppImage installations.
Open Your Terminal and Enter the Following:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:mozillateam/ppa
sudo apt update
sudo apt upgrade
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:mozillateam/ppa
sudo apt update
sudo apt upgrade
You should now be able to use all the nice features of the newest version of Thunderbird.
