How to Uninstall KWordQuiz:
1. Open the Terminal (Shortcut: Ctrl + Alt + T)
2. Type the following command: sudo apt-get remove kwordquiz
To start KWordQuiz, click on the Applications menu, highlight Education, and then select KWordQuiz. By default, KWordQuiz loads in Editor mode. In this mode, you can create a new set of flash cards or open an existing set.
When you create a new set of flash cards, you must save it using a file name and include a .kvtml extension. If not, you'll get the following error message: "Unknown file type."
When you create a new set of flash cards, you add a front and back for each card. Each row will become one card and a column represents one side of the card. In my example below, you see two columns and 16 rows. You can scroll down to see a total of 50 rows. The first column represents the front card and the second column represents the back card.
You can name your columns or card sides by clicking on the Vocabulary menu and then click the Cloumn Settings...
A Column Settings dialog box will appear that will allow you to name your columns. Click the OK button after you name them.
You can switch to flash card mode by clicking the Flashcard option on the left. It will open by displaying Coulumn 1, in my example the State is listed first.
If you click on the card, it will flip to display Column 2. Click the "I Know" option on the right if you got the answer correct or click the "I Do Not Know" if you didn't know the answer. This will cause the program to go to the next card in the list. If you added hints to your list, you can click "Hint" to provide you with a clue to the answer. If you provided an audio clip, you can click the "Play Audio" to provide you with an audible clue to the answer. The number across the bottom represents: 50 = number of flash cards, 34 = the current card number that I am on, 30 = the number of cards I got correct, 4 = the number of cards that I got wrong.
When you finish studying all the flash cards, it will let you know how many you got correct and how many you got wrong. It then will allow you to Repeat Errors or study the ones you missed. Eventually, you'll learn them all. Take a break and then study the entire list before you take a quiz, test, or exam.
You can switch to multiple choice mode by clicking on Multiple Choice option on the left. As you can see from my results, that I reviewed my 6 mistakes when I studied in Flashcard mode and I got all 50 correct in Multiple Choice mode.
You must fill in the blank when you are in Question & Answer mode.
You can switch your order or Mode to insure that you are not memorizing them in a particular arrangement.
