You can stop the channel playing without quitting Radio Tray Lite by clicking the Radio Tray Lite icon and click on Turn Off "What Channel You Have Playing." In my example I have 97.7 Classic Rock playing, so I would click on Turn Off "97.7 Classic Rock" to turn the station off. To quit Radio Tray Lite and remove it from the System Tray click the Quit option at the bottom of the menu.
If you do a fresh install of Radio Tray Lite, you will eventually notice that it has a lof of dead links or stations no longer streaming. I have deleted out the dead links and added a few extra streaming stations and saved them to my bookmarks. All of the radio stations are stored in a simple “bookmarks.xml” file. That makes it very easy to copy your bookmarks from computer to computer or save them in case your list becomes corrupt. I have uploaded my station list or bookmarks to an online storage in case I install Radio Tray Lite on multiple computers. I have the ability to download my bookmarks and put them in the Radio Tray Lite folder to prevent setting up my stations. You can download them and use them or edit them to match your music preferences.

You must start Radio Tray Lite so that it creates radiotray-lite folder in your .config folder. It will generate a config.xml and bookmarks.xml files in the radiotray-lite folder. You can then close Radio Tray Lite and copy your existing bookmarks.xml from Radio Tray (which is usually located at $HOME/.local/share/radiotray/bookmarks.xml) into $HOME/.config/radiotray-lite/ directory. If you've never created a bookmarks.xml file because you've never used Radio Tray then download my bookmarks.xml file from one of the links above and copy it into $HOME/.config/radiotray-lite/ directory.
