It will take a while to build index files when you first open the program.
One of the fastest ways to open an image with Fotoxx is to right-click on an image and highlight Open With and click on Fotoxx.
In a few seconds your image will load.
You can press the Right arrow button to advance to the Next file or image or press the Left arrow button to go to the Previous file.
You can right-click on your image to bring up a menu.
Clicking on the buttons or commands on the left will also bring up a menu. In my example below, I clicked on the Effects button. Eighteen effect features appeared in the menu. I clicked on the Cartoon effect for my example.
A dialog bog appeared allowing me to change the Line Threshold, Line Width, Blur Radius, and Kuwahara Depth. You will see your image change immediately when you click the Apply button.
When you click on a button or command on the left it bring up a menu or dialog box. Below is an illustration of the menus or dialog boxes that appears through each button or command.
Warp: Sphere
Click on the Warp command and when the menu pops-up, click on Sphere.

You can make adjustments in a small Sperical Projection dialog box. You can also make changes to your image by dragging your mouse in your image.
Below is the result of the image from the examples above. When you save your image, I recommend that you save it as a PNG file so the areas around your image will be transparent.
This is a very powerful piece of software. If you are just looking for an image viewer, then this may be a bit more than you're looking for. However, if you are a photographer or photo editing buff then I think you'll enjoy all of the advanced features that Fotoxx has to offer.
