Click the arrow > to the left of the genre you want to edit and it will expand the list of stations within that genre. You can add a station, edit a station, or remove a station. You can add separators between your genres; however, that will extend the length of your Radio Tray menu. If a station no longer works, click on it to highlight it and click the -Remove button. (Try the station a few times at different times of the day before you decide to remove it. Sometimes stations have trouble streaming and it temporary stops streaming.)

You can see the new group and station is in the main menu. I currently having it playing in the background. If you look at the top of the menu, you'll see that "Alabama's Finest Radio" is playing and the current song is Where The Real At by Young Impala.
If you do a fresh install of Radio Tray, you will eventually notice that it has a lof of dead links or stations no longer streaming. I have deleted out the dead links and added a few extra streaming stations and saved them to my bookmarks. All of the radio stations are stored in a simple “bookmarks.xml” file. That makes it very easy to copy your bookmarks from computer to computer or save them in case your list becomes corrupt. I have uploaded my station list or bookmarks to an online storage in case I install Radio Tray on multiple computers. I have the ability to download my bookmarks and put them in the Radio Tray folder to prevent setting up my stations. You can download them and use them or edit them to match your music preferences.
Download my Bookmarks.html file at:
* My Google Drive
* My Dropbox

Download my “bookmarks.xml” file from either my Google Drive or Dropbox into your Downloads folder.
Open up another file manager and click on the View menu and click on Show Hidden Files.
Double-click the .local folder, then double-click the share folder, and then double-click on radiotray. You should see the original “bookmarks.xml” file if you have run Radio Tray once to create the file. Now copy “bookmarks.xml” file from your Downloads folder to the program folder. (Copy from your Downloads folder to the .local/share/radiotray folder)
For Radio Tray Lite you'll need to copy “bookmarks.xml” file to .config/radiotray-lite folder)
You will be prompted to overwrite the file to replace the original file with the modified file. Click the Replace button to replace your stations.
Restart Radio Tray or highlight the Preferences menu and click on Reload Bookmarks to load your new stations.
If you would like to add more stations, then you can find all types of streaming music at the links below.

You'll need to download the station information so that you can get the station URL to add to your Radio Player list. In the example below I will demonstrate how to get the URL from shoutcast.com. I first clicked on the play button to see if the station was a working streaming channel. If it worked, I pressed the stop button and then clicked on the download button between the play button and station name.
I then selected to download the channel info as a .m3u file; however, Radio Player will work with the other two options.
Go into your Downloads folder and right-click the .m3u file and highlight Open With menu option and then click on your favorite text editor. My favorite text editor is gedit. (You can install gedit by typing "sudo apt-get install gedit" in the Terminal.)
The station's information can now be viewed in your text editor. You can copy the URL info and put it in the step above to adding a station. You can get the station name from the file or you can name the station yourself.
You now have the ability to install Radio Tray, replace the station list, edit or modify the station list, and find new stations online to add to your list of stations.
I hope this has been helpful and I hope that you enjoy listening to your favorite streaming radio station using Radio Tray.
