Below is an image of the program when you first start it. I am using a dark theme, so my program appears dark.
Click the Up Arrow button, in the upper right corner, to open the Choose the file to write dialog box. Here you can locate your .iso file.
Now insert your Thumb Drives or Flash Drives into your system. When all USB devices are plugged in and ready, click the Start Copying button to start the writing process.
Click the three vertical dots button to display a few options. You can turn off the Wipe option to save time on larger Thumb Drives. This feature wipes off all the data on the Thumb Drive to ensure that no one can retrieve sensitive information. It's a great feature to use if you're giving away the newly flashed Thumb Drive.
When you click the Start Copying button you will have to enter your password.
You may also be greeted with the following warning.
You'll then watch as your .iso files flash to your Thumb Drives.
Here's what it looks like if everything completed successfully.
GNOME MultiWriter is a great utility to write an ISO file to multiple USB devices at once; however, it currently doesn't support .img files. I recommend that you use Popsicle if you work with .iso and .img files.
I highly recommend that you give GNOME MultiWriter a try if you download a lot of .iso files and you need to flash them to a Thumb Drive or several Thumb Drives.
