You can access the program in your menu after you get the program installed. I am using Ubuntu MATE 18.04.4 LTS with the traditional menu, so I access it by clicking on the Applications menu, highlight Sound & Video, and then click on Pragha.
Once you open the program you will see a simple user interface. It will ask you if you, "Would like to import (your default music folder location) to library? No Yes."
If you click the "Yes" button it will import the albums from your default Music folder.
You can add or remove folders to your Library. Click the Tools menu and then on Preferences option.
A Preferences dialog box will appear allowing you to add additional music folders to your Library. Make sure the Library tab is the active tab and then click the Add button on the right.
Navigate to the folder that contains your music albums and select it and then click on the Open button.
Your new Music folder will be added to your Library list. Click the Ok button when you have finished adding Music folders.
You will then be prompted, "Would you like to update your music library? No Yes." If you click the Yes button it will scan your system and add albums to your Lirary.
You will see all your albums under the Library section within the Folder structure area.
You can select an album and drag it into the Playlist area.
Now you are ready to double-click a song within the Playlist area to start playing the song.
When one song finishes playing it will advance to the next song in the Playlist.
You can drag additional albums or songs into your Playlist area.
You can remove an album or song or songs from your Playlist by selecting them and then right-click and select Remove from playlist option. The Clear playlist option will clear all the songs from the Playlist area. You can save a playlist by selecting the Save playlist option or you can save selected parts of your current playlist by selecting the Save selection option.
Pragha has a title bar at the top that displays the name of the program. Then you'll see a Menu bar that contains the Playback, Playlist, View, Tools, and Help menus. Below the menu you'll see the Playback controls: Previous Track, Play/Pause Track, Stop playback, and Next Track buttons. To the right of the buttons you'll see a small album art icon and then a music Seek bar. Above the Seek bar is the song name, artist, and album title of the current song being played. Then you have the Random Songs button, Repeat Songs button and Volume control.
Here's quick look through each of the Menus.
You can enable or turn on the Equalizer by clicking on the Tools menu and select Equalizer. You can turn On or Off the Equalizer by clicking the switch in the upper left corner of the Equalizer dialog box appear
You have a wide variety of preset settings for the Equalizer or you can create your own Custom settings.
Here's an example of creating a Custom setting of the Equalizer.
Here's quick look through each of the tabs within the Preferences dialog box. You can access them by clicking on the Tools menu and then click on Preferences.
You can customize the look of Pragha by clicking on the View menu. You can view the Lyrics by checking the Secondary lateral panel and you can place the controls at the bottom by checking the Playback controls below.
You then can follow along with the music as it plays.
