Calendar
Calendar (a.k.a. GNOME Calendar) is a simple and beautiful calendar application designed to perfectly fit the GNOME desktop, but it can also be installed on other Linux desktops.
How to Install Calendar:
Method 1
1. Open the Terminal (Shortcut: Ctrl + Alt + T)
2. Type the following command: sudo apt-get update
3. Press Enter or Return and type in your password
4. Type the following command: sudo apt-get install gnome-calendar
5. Type Y and press Enter or Return
Method 2
1. Go to the pkgs.org website and locate your Linux distribution.
2. Click the file that matches the version you use.
3. Download the binary package to install the application on your system.

1. Open Software or Software Center on your system and click the Search button and search for
calendar.

How to Uninstall PDF-Shuffler:
1. Open the Terminal (Shortcut: Ctrl + Alt + T)
2. Type the following command: sudo apt-get remove gnome-calendar

Click the Trash icon to remove the program if you installed it via Software or Software Center
You should now see Calendar in your menu.
You are now ready to add appointments to your new Calendar.
Adding Appointments to the Calendar
1. Hover the mouse pointer over the day and left-click your mouse button. This will bring up a New Event
Today dialog box.

1. Type the name of the event in the New Event Today dialog box. Click the Add button to immediately add
the new event to your calendar or click the right arrow icon to select a type of Calendar event.

2. When the Calendar dialog box appears select the type (highlight color) and then click the back arrow icon.
3. Click the Edit Details... button for additional settings.
4. You can select whether or not the new event is repeated or not, you can set a reminder, or add a note to the
new event. Click on Done you finish.

You should now see the new event on your calendar.
You can remove an event from your Calendar by clicking on the event and selecting Edit... Then click the red Delete Event button at the bottom.
