Floorp Browser
Floorp is a free and open-source project based on Mozilla Firefox. It is highly customizable browser with a variety of features. It is created in Japan and supports multiple languages.
Floorp is a based on the Firefox ESR release. Firefox Extended Support Release (ESR) is an official version of Firefox developed for large organizations like universities and businesses that need to set up and maintain Firefox on a large scale. Extended Support Releases doesn't receive updates and upgrades as often as the standard Firefox version; however, it does receive minor updates such as crash fixes, security fixes and policy updates as needed. You can see on the Releases webpage of the Floorp Project GitHub website that this browser gets minor updates when needed and major updates about every four weeks or once a month.
Floorp Browser is available for Windows, macOS, and Linux. You can install it by running the installer or by extracting the archive. The Floorp Browser GitHub Repository provides instructions for installing it on multiple platforms. Debian-based distributions (such as Ubuntu and Linux Mint) and Arch-based distributions (such as Manjaro) are supported. The GitHub website has list of supported package managers for Linux users. You can also install the browser from the Floorp website or the Flatpak version from the Flathub website.
How to Install Floorp on Ubuntu and Debian based Systems:
Option 1: Install from PPA
Open your Terminal and enter the following:

When the installation process is completed you will see a message, "Floorp was successfully installed!"
Option 2: Install from Flathub
Open your Terminal and enter the following:
1. flatpak install flathub one.ablaze.floorp
2. flatpak run one.ablaze.floorp

1. flatpak install flathub one.ablaze.floorp
2. flatpak run one.ablaze.floorp
Option 3: Install from Software (Software Center)
You are now ready to open the Floorp Browser. If you do not see it in your menu then reboot your system.
When you open Floorp you will see a "Welcome to Floorp!" webpage with two additional tabs across the top. I highly recommend that you install the TWP - Translate Web Pages add-on so that you can read the Japanese text from the third tab. Click the Ready to jump in button to customize your new browser or click the Skip to Start Browsing link to immediately start using the browser. You can always go into the Settings and customize the browser.

I closed tabs two and three and then clicked the Ready to jump in button on the first tab. You'll then be ready to Import Your Browser Data by clicking the Import Data... button. I decided to click the Skip import link.
You'll then presented with three options to Select a template. I selected the Default template by clicking the Select button under the Default section.
The next screen allows you to Select a Browser Design.
The next screen says, Setup Complete! It lets you know that other features can be found in Floorp's Settings. Click the Start Browsing the Web button to start using your new browser.

Themes

You will see something similar to the image below. You will see a search bar, eight shortcut icon links, and some Recommended by Pocket news info. You will have a random image by Unsplash.
You can customize the Homepage by clicking the Gear icon in the upper right corner. You can uncheck the boxes and turn off Shortcuts and Recommend by Pocket to clean up your Homepage.
It has a live preview as you make changes.
You can hide the Bookmarks Toolbar by right-clicking on it and highlight Bookmark Toolbar and select Never Show.
If you like having a Menu Bar acroos the top, right-click the top area and select Menu Bar.
