Frog
Frog is a simple program that allows you to extract text from any image, video, QR Code and etc.
Frog is an intuitive text extraction tool (OCR) for GNOME and Elementary OS. It allows you to quickly extract text from almost any source: YouTube, screencasts, PDFs, webpages, photos, etc. You just have to grab the image and get the text. Frog can also help you decode QR codes.
How to Install Frog:

You can can install it via the Software Center. Search for Frog and then click the Install button.

The version at the time of creating this webpage is Frog ver. 1.5.0.
Clicking the three vertical dots in the upper right corner will create a drop-down menu that displays: Preferences, Keyboard Shortcuts, About Frog, and Star on GitHub.
Clicking on Preferences will display a menu with two tabs. The General tab will be displayed by default. Here you can control the Text Extracting, Behavior, and Telemetry.
The Languages tab allows you to add and remove languages to the program.
Below is a list of the Shortcuts for Frog.
It does a great job extracting text or links from QR codes. You can create a free QR code for your website at https://www.qrstuff.com.
It's great for extracting text from videos like YouTube.
How to Remove Frog from Linux
To remove the flatpak version, open your Terminal and enter the following:
sudo flatpak uninstall com.github.tenderowl.frog
To remove the snap version, open your Terminal and enter the following:
sudo snap remove frog
You can can uninstall it via the Software Center. Search for Frog and then click the trash icon.
